My golf journey began in the sun-soaked city of El Paso, Texas, where I fell in love with the game at an early age. I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by some of the game’s greats—PGA Championship winner Rich Beem, two-time PGA Tour Winner J.P. Hayes, and LPGA Tour Champion Kristi Albers. Even more influential were the legendary coaches I learned from, including Texas Golf Hall of Famers Bill Eschenbrenner and Cameron Doan.

I later attended the Professional Golf Management program at Arizona State University, where I sharpened both my game and my understanding of the golf industry. From there, I worked at several top clubs around Scottsdale, Arizona, while also competing in local PGA section events.

One of the most pivotal decisions in my career was accepting the role of Head Golf Professional at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Missouri. Over 12 years, I cultivated a reputation for excellence and leadership, contributing to the club's growth and success. This experience deepened my passion for the game and ultimately led me to embrace teaching full-time, allowing me to share my knowledge and enthusiasm directly with golfers of all levels
